I am trying to understand the poem "Cancion de otono en primavera" by Ruben Dario and there are two lines that I do not understand.. "y de nuestra carne ligera imaginar siempre un Eden," Gracias por su ayuda!! Kelan smile

That's the problem with the automated translators - sometimes they yield rather funny things. In this case the word we want for "carne" is not "meat", but "flesh". - Gekkosan, Mar 30, 2010

I'm a beginner, but I am taking a stab at this.

Carne also means flesh and ligera can mean superficial. I think it means something like 'our superficial flesh forever imagining Eden'. Again, this is just my best guess.

A beautifull poem , I wonder is it close to his translation from the Spanish , and did he translate all his own poems.?
