I see about 100,000 hits on google for "Aqui va nada" I wonder if that is Spanglish or if it is correct? Thanks.

I have never used it, and it sounds weird to me.

I have heard it so many times. It is a fairly popular expression, at least where I live and with the people I know.

To me, it basically means "You have nothing much to lose." or That you are about to try something and are not overly concerned with the consequences. So....."Here goes nothing!"

¿En español, Nicole? - Gekkosan, Mar 29, 2010
No, I haven't heard it in Spanish yet. I thought we were discussing the meaning of the phrase in general. - Nicole-B, Mar 29, 2010
I understood that Jeezle was asking whether anyone had heard or used the direct Spanish translation of "here goes nothing", which of course is absolutely common in English. - Gekkosan, Mar 29, 2010
