The more likely problem culprit here is that in the one and only question before this that you asked, there is a small box on the bottom line of the question entry block that says "watch this question ". Be sure there is not an "x" in that box. If the box is not "x"ed or "ticked", you will not be notified by e-mail of the replies that are entered to you original question.

You might also want to verify that this particular entry to stop e-mails shows a blank box for "watch this question".

I believe that choice is "opt in" not "opt out" but I don't start many threads so I'm not sure. At any rate, it's worth checking. - samdie, Mar 29, 2010

First, though, please tell us what these emails say? Are they "Word of the Day" emails, or something else?

Perhaps they are about the question you asked, "How do you say I'm cold in Spanish?" or are they about something else?

If you're addressing this to the staff you might wish to do it under site feedback or call an administrator's attention to it. (You could flag the question).

If you wish to change your e-mail mailbox address or just stop SpanishDict from sending you email altogether you can do so on your member's profile page.
