I would like to say

I want it to rain

The translations are giving me three different answers so I thought I would ask you guys.

I would guess

Quireo que llover

But that is my guess and this is what the translations gave me

Quiero que la lluvia, Deseo llover,
Quisiera que lloviera

What do you guys think?

Ojalá que llueva. I wish it would rain.

You can also say: Quiero que llueva. I want it to rain.

In both of the examples I have given, the subjunctive is used because of the phrases 'Ojalá que' and 'Quiero que'.

There is a lesson in the Learn Spanish section of this site that covers when to use the subjunctive, and that lesson covers your question. You should check it out.

Quiero que llueva

Espero que lloviera can be used to. It means "I wish it rained".

"Espero que lloviera" that mix of tenses sounds odd to me. - samdie, Mar 29, 2010
Sounds odd because it's incorrect. "Espero que llueva" o "Desearía que lloviera" :) - Benz, Mar 29, 2010
