'Heads up'?

I heard a Spanish word spoken by someone...sounded like 'apersora!' or 'aporsora!'...It in the imperative tense and translates to 'Heads up', or 'Take charge' or 'Look sharp'.. What is this word in Spanish? I searched through the translations on this site, but can't find it.

Could it have been something like "aguas con + name of the thing to avoid"? That's a common way to say "heads up" or "watch out" in Mexico.

Hello Spanishfan. Could you give a bit more context of the situation? How do you know for sure it means what you believe?

I agree with Qfreed that it would appear to be "apresura", but that doesn't make quite so much sense if you're sure of the meaning of what was said. So maybe if you can tell us what was happening when this was said, and what the reaction was, perhaps we can provide you with a better option.
