Don't start with that. Can that be said in Spanish, just like English? I heard it in a show.

Sure. Exactly the same expression, with the same meaning. "Don't you start with that (nonsense) now!!"
"¡No empieces con eso (esa tontería) ahora!"
You can also say "¡No comiences...!"
