Is this phrase grammatically correct?
Autor chileno Isabel Allende
I know autor is masculine, but should chileno be feminine because the author is female?

Ah! The same discussion we had a couple of hours ago with "médico" / "médica".
With this one, it is pretty much standard today that women writers are "autoras". So, the correct and accepted phrase would be: "La autora chilena Isabel Allende".
Well, we just had a thread about silly feminine endings...but this one is very clear:
Isabel Allende: autora chilena
