Quick question about sentence construction...

****Just a quick question about where the él should go in this sentence:**

**¿Comete él muchos errores? o ¿Él comete muchos errores?****

I asked my Spanish friend (on skype so there may have been confusion) whether you should say ¿Comete él muchos errores? o ¿Hace él muchos errores?

and he replied: Él comete muchos errores, so I got a little confused.

Thank you in advance smile.

The grammatically correct way is the first; "¿comete él muchos errores?", but the other form it's not unusual. It's an affirmation used as a question.

It's similar as if somebody says in English: "he is going there? instead of "is he going there?
