Question

Hello! I would need the following bold sentences translated into Spanish...

'Congratulations! You can cut onions!' (this is meant sarcastically)

'Master chef' (as in the top chef in a restaurant)

In my estimation, in order to really transmit the level of stinging, dripping, vicious sarcasm intended , it may be better phrased as: "Veo que puede(s) picar / rebanar cebollas - ¡Felicitaciones!"

As for Master Chef, I assume the world of professional cooking has its own conventions that may be different from this, but I would say: "Chef Principal" or "Maestro de Chefs" or as has already been suggested, even leave it at "Master Chef"

I agree with Sunshinzmom, but if you want to say it informally:

¡Felicidades! Puedes cortar las cebollas.

I'm not sure how to say "Master chef." Let's wait and see what others have to offer on that.
