Pencil=lápiz maths book=libro de matemáticas and your sentence would read: Necesito un lápiz, libro de matemáticas,el papel y una calculadora. the verb necesitar is correct but you need to conjugate it to 1st person and you don't need to start with yo.

Pencil is un lápiz, penecilina (f) is penicillin

A Maths book is un libro de matemáticas

(Yo) necesito is I need, necesitar is to need. You have to conjugate the verb to the correct person.
