What does "link" mean? How can I erase an answer from me?

Hello my spanishlearning compañeros. I pressed the button "link" by mistake but nothing happend. What does that mean? And how can I erase an answer from me? I hope everybody is well. ¡Saludos para todos de Alemania! Vivi

Billy's right - you can edit your post by clicking on "edit" below it and type something like "delete please" or "delete" - only the admins can delete posts.

I clicked link and it opened up a little with an html link for your question. I can't see how that would be helpful, but I don't use html really, so....as for deleting your question, as far as I know, you can't. I wonder, what is the weather like in Germany at this time of year? Gracias.

The link is just like the adress of your post, other people can copy and past it to other place, then it will appear as a hyperlink and when someone clicks on that hyperlink they will find your post immediately

You can edit your anwer but you can't delete it. Only admin can do it, I think.

I have seen that some people simply erase their answer and type in "deleted" or "answer deleted." It at least gets the job done and people don't wonder why your answer is blank.

I think you can edit your answers but I'm not 100% posotive so dont take my word for it, but I'm pretty sure you can and when you edit it you could just delete it... There actually has to be a link that your attaching to make it a link, thats why nothing happened! Most of the time with your answers they just have to stay there and eventually the questions get out of the loop of main question/answers and you don't have to worry about it any more. Hope that helps!!!

When I edit some of my answers and I dont like the answer i just erase the whole thing basically and then my answer doesnt show up anymore.. - mel25tlw, Mar 23, 2010
