Cria translation
Hi. I have seen the word cria used to mean one cria or many cria. I have also seen the word crias. I have used the form "two cria" in a print publication and now I am concerned that this is incorrect. Is it possible to use the word cria to mean one cria and many cria or is it strictly crias? I've also seen the word alpaca to mean singular and plural. Hope you can help me with this. Thanks, Shannon

Whether it was plural or not would depend on the context of the noun.
When used as "young" (children) the buffalo's young or as a brood then the plural form may not be appropriate.
When used as a "suckling", however, the plural noun would be appropriate.
As for having seen the word crías realize that it is also the 2nd person, singular, present tense, indicative mood of the verb criar.
