Lesson 1.6 learn Spanish

I have just finished lesson 1.6 (likes/dislikes)perhaps i missed it but why do we not use me gusto.Will it always be me gusta /me gustan.Thankyou

Me gusto would actually mean that you are pleasing yourself.

So yes you will use me gusta or me gustan if it is plural

for example: me gusta la naranja or me gustan las naranjas
