"Spare the blood, spoil the child", "Spare the rod, spoil the child", "No pain, no gain", "The letter comes with blood" or "With blood comes the knowledge" is one of Francisco Goya's works. But it's rather difficult to translate the title, because in English a proverb like this doesn't exist.

Unfortuntely, today that would arrest the teacher for child abuse! In the old days, they would have certainly learned their lessons.

I like to read the lyrics when I'm listening to a song.

I don't know if you say "las letras"or "la letra" for lyrics (because it has "s" at the end. . Haha... weird.

*I think it's "por" but I am not sure.

It seems strange to me that you say "mayúscula" instead of "capital letter" in Spanish.

Seen on youtube.com: Cool song, thanks for uploading the lyrics. Ah youtube with your crazy slang......how do I love thee.....let me count the ways........

Edit: Not sure of "como te amo yo a ti" for "how do I love thee" and never heard of argot but I guess it means slang.
