Someone told me once that "toothfairy" in spanish was "raton"...that doesn't sound right to me. What is the spanish word for "toothfairy"?

A literal translation of "tooth fairy" would be "hada de los dientes". However, in most countries I'm familiar with, the being that takes away the milk teeth that children shed, and leaves some kind of treat - usually a coin - is not a fairy, but a mouse: Ratón Pérez.

(The story itself is written for children and has simple grammar and vocabulary if someone wants to practice a translation and post if for proofreading). (I know because I could read it, that it has to be simple).
