"Nos pusimos las botas" ?
What does that mean ? It can be "we wear boots" ?
There is a question as;
- ¿Qué tal en el cumpleaños de tus primos? ¡Genial! Nos pusimos las botas. a) Bailamos todo el tiempo. b) comimos mucho. c) Éramos los más elegantes.

Well I think "ponerse las botas" is an idiom and it means "to strike it rich". It can also mean "to have a blow out" or "to eat a lot".
"To fill your boots" is an English expression which means - do what you want, don't hold back. I guess it is similar - go ahead - eat all you want.
Ok now i looked at answers sheet, and i say un****inbelievable!
It shows "B" as right answer. haha
"ponerse los botas" = "comer mucho", interesting lenguage
It is not homework, I'm tworkin on an example of D.E.L.E(Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera) exam. I took the question from there.
My guess is "C", but i am not sure because "we put on our boots" doesnt make a sense ? In "C" says "we were elegant" rigth ?
"Ponerse las botas" can be also "bailar mucho".
