What does "para ajeno" mean?

Here is the context: Pero cuando trabajaba para mi tía yo vendía y tejía cosas, porque una vez estaba tejiendo una para un regalo y a una señora le gusto y me dijo “hazme una para alguien” y de allí empecé ha hacer para ajeno y me iba bien.
