Why did she put le instead of te?
She put que le gusta hacer. Isn't it que TE gusta hacer?

"Le" is the formal form: Que le gusta hacer -> what do you (formal) like to do. You would use the formal form if you had just met this person, if it were an older person you would like to show respect or someone you are not familiar with. Like your boss, a perfect stranger, an older lady you randomly start a conversation with.
You would only use "te" in an informal setting, if you were to ask a person you know very well (a friend, sibling, someone younger that yourself) the same question: Que te gusta hacer -> what do you (informal) like to do.

le gusta hacer would be if you wanted to say:
He likes...
She likes....
or You like... (using usted for you)
Te gusta
is You like...using (tú for you)
Whether is is le or te depends on whether she is addressing you in the informal or the formal tone.
Your answer using me gusta... is correct in either case if You was was the subject of the question.
