Asi que, dos mujeres están hablando, como este:
Una mujer: ¡Que {edit}!
Otra mujer: ¿A que sí? ¡Pues, tú tambien!
¿Qué significa "¿A que sí?." Seguro es un dicho.
Creo que probablemente significa
"Oh yeah?" o
"Is that so?" o
"Is that a fact?"

"Is that so?" Is the best translation to English,
I don't agree, as this would express doubt. In Spanish this expression does not express doubt.
Actually it is often used like this:
¿A que hablas inglés? ¿A que te gusta el fútbol?
You speak English, don't you? You like football, don't you?
it expresses an amount of certainty that your assumption is correct.
Is that so expresses doubt or even surprise.
"Is that so?" Is the best translation to English, and don't forget, it must be están hablando - or chismeando if you prefer.
Expresión española que indica convencimiento de lo anteriormente expuesto por tí o por tu interlocutor You can say: you are really agree. El otro te va a decir o pensar: Am I? Si dices "a que sí" sonará como música y verás una sonrisa. (Acompañado de un verbo: apuesto, voto, ... vale para entender el significado, pero lo pierde totalmente)

So we have two opposite expressions :
A que sí.
and
A que no.
If I had to guess I would go with "Is that so?", but that's just a guess...
