when i was leaving cuba i had well wishers.,.,,.one person repeated twice ''que quieres mucho'',.,., i,m not sure if it was meant as a question.,.,.i thought i understood but then it was too late to ask for it in english.,.,.,.,i do have an idea what it means but i would like it to be made clearer

¿Qué quieres mucho?= What do you really want?/ What do you want a lot?
May be they said "Te quieres mucho" which means "I love you a lot."
Sorry I can't give anything more definite.
