which word is best - meet or match?
I am trying to write a letter to send to parents at my school. I want to say that I need their participation so that we can meet the grant requirements. When I look up different words I see lots of ideas. I am thinking either meet or match like..igualar la donacion?

Welcome to the forum.
It seems to me that "to meet a requirement" is very different from "to match a donation." Which are you trying to say?
If you need parents to give money in order to match the donations of a certain donor or that that donor will match the donations of the parents then you might say:
...igualar la donación - to match the donation
But if you need parents to participate in order to meet some requirement so that a grant can be received then you might say:
...para satisfacer los requisitos de nuestros donadores - to satisfy (to meet) the requirements of our donors
or
...para cumplir con los requisitos para recibir la beca - to comply with the requirements for receiving the grant
