"queroso / querosa"

I thought I heard this word on a Spanish TV show, but can't find any translation info anywhere. Maybe I don't have it spelled correctly. Is this a Spanish adjective and is it perhaps a colloquial alternative for "querido / querida"?

I thought the same as melipiru, except I wouldn't say it's necessarily an "ugly" word. "Asqeuroso/a" means "Disgusting".

Creo que lo está diciendo melipiru es que algo feo te da asco.

I think melipiru is saying that something ugly disgusts you.
