This is an idiomatic use, in Spanish we say:

Pase lo que pase, siempre te querré/ te amaré.

This looks like a literal (word for word) translation of an English idiom. I'm not sure the feeling would be carried over. The last part should be ... siempre te amaré. - CalvoViejo, Mar 15, 2010
