I think it is me that "hears" too slowly.

I think it is for the same reasons any one in the world talks fast. When you don't know a language everything seems too fast, even English.

Well spanish people can bend time to their will so they can speed up boring conversations making them talk so fast.

If you take a look at the words , you will see that most of the words in spanish includes , q, p , r ,s, t and e, a ,o ... And this makes the speech fluent

I'm not so sure about that...

They don't talk fast its just that they no short cuts just like fluent english speakers will say things like "ya'll" or most people say "proly or probly" istead of probably. It is just getting used to the language and how it is spoken. This is with any language though so its not just Spanish or just English. Chinese people sound like they are flying when they speak Chinese if they grew up speaking it. Hope this helps smile

No i think it's something different , for example , you can't speak english that fast because there are a lot of sounds that are hard to pronunciate. for example "sh"... If you take a look at the words , you will see that most of the words in spanish includes , q, p , r ,s, t and e, a ,o ... And this makes the speech fluent because if you try , the most different sound is "s" and if you pay attention they generally don't say the " s" sounds for example buenos días is like " buenos dia" am I wrong? and the other sounds are not so difficult to pass from one to another , so they can roll on and speak fast as much as to make you say , oh dios mio! no puedes hablar mas despacio?? and the answer : andate andate no hablo rapido , es normal smile

It isn't that they are speaking quickly, it's just that you don't understand it all yet. It's just like in English- we speak quickly too. They are just having normal conversation just as we have normal conversations in which we speak quickly, slowly...
