Sentence Game

Sentence Game

I'm surprised that this game hasn't been posted before... but this is the sentence game. The way this game works is that one person begins a sentence by saying ONE word. The next person who comes along writes ONE more word. When this next word is added, write your word and on the line below, write the partially completed sentence and a translation into English. The person after that does the same thing, and the sentence gets longer and longer. Eventually, when the sentence gets too long (and the thought is completed), somebody will add their word, and after it, they will write "PERIOD" in all caps to end the sentence. The person behind them chooses the first word for the next, unrelated, sentence. The difficulty is that you CANNOT change anyone's word once it has been posted, so, you will have to come up with words that grammatically fit with the sentence. The ONLY exceptions to this rule are grammatical contractions, like "de el" becomes "del." Finally, if a word has several meanings in Spanish, feel free to choose whichever meaning you like the best, and add to it! Don't worry if the sentence becomes a bit strange, that's part of the fun!

Example: First post: El El... The...

Second post: hombre El hombre... The man...

Third post: tiene El hombre tiene... The man has...

Fourth post: sed PERIOD El hombre tiene sed. The man is thirsty.

Got it? Remember to conjugate verbs and use correct grammar! For the sake of sanity, if somebody uses incorrect grammar, their word will be ignored. If multiple words are added in the same post, the first one to be added will be the one that will be used to continue the forward progress of the game.

The first word is Yo.
