I think you mean saltines, crackers... It sounds like Mexicans saying "galleticas". In Argentina we say "galletitas", but wait for another opinion smile

These are "galletitas" in Argentina

and these (what you call "cookies") are "masitas dulces"

.

But it seems that "galleticas" can be any of these, crackers or cookies. Google it and you'll see smile
