A-Z Feelings and emotions

OK I am jumping on the alphabetical band wagon The rules are the same. Let's see if we can name emotions or states of mind starting with A in Spanish with the translation in English along side.

I think it is ok if there are multiple answers of the same letter or idioms.No sentences. I want to keep it simple

A=abandonado=abandoned,forsaken

Just to clarify why EBULLICION is not considered an emotion:

It can not be used with personal emotions. If you say something like "Estoy en estado de ebullición", sound really weird. Nobody wil understand you or at least your are within a group of physics or chemists.

ebullicíon=ebullience, effervescence

Someone might want to explain in detail why they do not feel this word is an emotion.I checked the reference in this dictionary, Vox Spanish/English and Everest dictionary of synonyms and antonyms before this was posted.

I don't think this is an emotion or feeling - Doriz, Mar 6, 2010
ebullience is enthusiasm. effervesence may be more metaphorical but it is an emotion - nizhoni1, Mar 6, 2010
no really, it doesn't work in spanish. - juluque, Mar 7, 2010
