what are pretérito and imperfect tense? oh and how do i use them?

At the top of your screen is a blue bar. Underneath the big "SpanishDict" are the words Learn Spanish. Click this. Next, Go to Learn Spanish 2. This will be full of lessons explaining both the preterite and the imperfect.
