Guerra

La vejez de los pueblos.
El corazón sin dueño.
El amor sin objeto.
El hierba, el polvo, el cuervo.
¿Y la juventud?

En el ataúd.
.
El árbol solo y seco.
La mujer como un leño
de viudez sobre el lecho.
El odio sin remedio.
¿Y la juventud?

En al ataúd.

Creo que me gusta a mí porque es sencillo y corto y para mí la poesía es bien dificil entender. Pero también me gusta como nada rima menos los frases sobre la juventud en el ataúd. Para mí, la rima hace esas lineas mas fuertes y finales, como si las palabras pesan más. También el uso de las imagenes y palabras como seco, vejez, y un leño tienen un sentimiento fuerte de la muerta. Y hay un sentido de soledad en el arbol solo y la viuda que me dejan sentir vacío despues de leer el poema.
I think I like it because it´s simple and short and for me poetry is quite difficult to understand. But I also like it because there are no rhymes except for the sentences about youth in the coffin. To me, the rhyme makes those lines stronger and more final, as if the words weigh more. Also the use of images and words like dry, age, and a log have a strong death feeling. And there is a sense of solitude and loneliness in the lone tree and the widow that leaves me feeling empty after reading the poem.
