Un envase de sémen para el laboratorio, if this is a container full of semen. If not, it would be, un envase (vacio) para obtener semen del or para el laboratorio. The problem is in English, the prepostion, "for" doesn't translate well into Spanish unless the context is known. Do you mean, the container originates from the lab, and the lab uses it to collect semen? Or do you mean, another department collects the semen and it goes to the lab? That would determine if the correct preposition is "del or para" In reality, a little more context would help, such as the purpose of the container. Also, is it really a container, or is it shaped like a vial? Is it plastic or glass, and what is the shape? Does it have a lid? You are asking a medical question to me, and as I am a medical interpreter, I would have to hear the whole context to give you a correct answer... but this one is a pretty general one. Also, just a comment, the word "container" seems to be too general, and I wouldn't use it even in English. I would say, "tube, vial, plastic container" or something more descriptive to give me an "image" of what we are talking about...
