Chatting to other users when on-line.

Question

We can send PMs to each other but it would be nice if we could "chat" to other users if they were on-line.

Would this be possible on this site?

Have you not visited the chatroom? It's right under the more tab. There are quite a few people in there most the time, and they are very helpful when you run into a question that you can't answer.....although it's usually not the same people that frequent the forum. (but sometimes you find a forum goer in there, like myself)

I think Ian's suggestion is very valuable. I never chat in chat rooms because of the total disarray and confusion that ocurrs with multiple people discussing multiple subjects. It is not as conducive to learning as "one on one" would be. Can anyone reconsider?

Ian, what a question to ask!!! I mean, we had a chat on the old forum, on the new one....we chat on text, we chat on tokbox....and you did not know???

REna and Ian, a one to one chat obliges all takes to be attentive and have an exclusive dedication. Why one to one? why not three or four at the same time? I assure you the tokbox is fun and light, everybody can talk or just listen in. Nobody has the obligation to stay (as with a one to one talk) and we all have fun. I mean, this is a talk everybody is supposed to have fun. What did you have in mind: a private teacher?? jeje

Both advanced as beginners have a lot of advantages through the chat. Do join us next Saturday

Neago, as I have said before, anbody is welcome in our weekly chat on tokbox on Saturdays.

Eddy was there the other day and Sam and valerie....you are welcome to join, of course, Goyo was there, a beginner too.

We could just agree to meet at chat places like "camfrog" (easy to find on google).

I am just a beginner, but would love to schedule a time to talk to somebody here using that or any similar program.
