Hello,

I am an intermediate Spanish student and wanted to know a how a few things translated and their meaning.

When I am speaking english, I was say "I was just there" or "I just told you!" signifying something that had occurred in the immediate past. Yet I am having trouble understanding how to use this in Spanish, especially when speaking. Is this implied through tense or is there a word to indicate this meaning. Already is another term I'm having trouble with.

Thank you!

One way to say this might be to use the following formula:

Acabo + de + infinitive

Acabo de decirte - I just told you

Another way might be to use the word "ya"

Ya te dije (que)... - I already told you (that)...
