Where did you find this site? I would like to try more web sites to test my spanish. - Rey_Mysterio, Mar 5, 2010
Here you'll find another test: http://ave.cervantes.es/prueba_nivel/default.htm?Idioma=esp - wobien, Mar 6, 2010
Thanks Benz - sinsonte, May 25, 2012
I worry that people will put too much stock in the results of this test, which has very little validity. Whatever level it says you're at... you're below that. - jtaniel, May 31, 2015
To see a real test of your CEFR language level, see my answer to this question. - jtaniel, May 31, 2015

It let me know I need to concentrate more on my tenses and the subjunctive (much more so than I thought).

jajajaja qué loca!!! - Benz, Mar 1, 2010
Keep trying Heidita. You'll eventually get there. - webdunce, Mar 2, 2010
But seriously, you are only c1 if you fail the c1 test. If you passed c1, then you are c2 and there is no test for c2. - webdunce, Mar 2, 2010

I'm not even trying it...I would be a minus Z20 - sfrenchie, Jun 3, 2010
Alice, I copied my test results to a text file. I am studying the 8 questions I missed. Basically, I learn most from my mistakes. I think most learners are like that. - Esteban3304, May 25, 2012

I got 20 of 30 right in B1 (67%). My level, according to that test is B1. I breezed through the A1 test. I struggled with A2, and I guessed an awful lot on B1.

Mi nivel es B1.

B1.

The first test had me worried but I did well on it. I thought the second one was a lot easier. But the 3rd one I felt I was over my head.

Resultado Test B2 Respuestas acertadas: 14 de 21 (67% de aciertos) No has superado el test B2. Si habías superado (o superas) el test B1, entonces tu nivel es éste: B2.

I hate tests! But this was good for me! I always charge through tests way too fast. Can't help it though, I'm not a ponderer. So I guess this means B2, right?

Casi Avanzado! Cool.

Resultado Test B1

Respuestas acertadas: 28 de 30 (93% de aciertos)

Has superado el test B1. Tu nivel es superior al B1.

I looked at the quesions in B2, but they're way beyond my reach. And I guess that a more elaborate test would place me somewhere between A2 and B1.

Nivel C1 - Avanzado

I still say that I'm an advanced intermediate who can sometimes pass for advanced.

Thanks for the link, Benz.

It's always "mucho" because "calor" is a noun there. - Luciente, Feb 28, 2010

B2 here. I did very well on the first, and progressively worse by fairly large margins. I only got 43% on B2 and a lot of that was just random picking and hoping red face I clearly am not anywhere near ready to pass B2. I'd say it's got me rated fairly accurately, though I thought I'd be a level lower and I need some refresher courses on verb tenses. Paralee, here I come wink
