Fewer ads! The rumors are true!

Hi everyone! I remember when I first started navigating myself around the forum I would hear whispers and rumors suggesting that after obtaining the elusive elite status of belonging to the over 4k reputation club, you would have a magical experience bestowed on you.

This experience?

One ad per page!

I am reveling in it! This is fun! What do I get when I hit 10 K? Let the whispering begin.......

Anyway, as I can see only one ad, I don't use adblock here and to provide the site's owners with some funds, I click on it once or twice a day (not more, as there are programmes designed to trace "false clicking" and then the site's owners do not get paid that much).

Yes, having fewer adds is definitely awesome. There should be some sort of better prize for hitting 10,000. As far as I know, all you get is a dinner over at Nicole and Issa's.

Nila has a really good point! Because of the way the forum is set up when you reach 4k you feel as if you have reached a milestone because you are rewarded with less ads. It would be a good idea if there were little rewards all along the way for those of us who are motivated by achievements....
