the oject of the preposition pronoun is mí, not mi... with con it's conmigo - 0074b507, Feb 26, 2010

"Maria habla con Jose y conmigo"

It would be like this:

conmigo

contigo

con él

con nosotros

con vosotros

con ellos

-

edit: good remark by qfreed, consigo is refering to the subject on the sentence and it needs the mismo/a to reinforce the identity. For example "Maria habla consigo misma" "Maria talks with herself"

consigo if it refers to the subject of the sentence - 0074b507, Feb 26, 2010

There are six special prepositions that are followed by subject pronouns rather than object pronouns.

  • entre between
  • excepto except
  • incluso including
  • menos except
  • según according to
  • salvo except

Examples:

  • Entre tú y yo, esta comida es horrible.
  • Todos beben agua, incluso yo.
  • Según tú, la chica es bonita.
