Does "parar de manos" mean do a handstand?

"Parar de manos" significa "do a handstand"?

I say yes to the probability that it is a regionalism. But it´s also very logical, pararse de manos (literrally, to stand up on your hands).

In Argentina it´s also said ´hacer la vertical´, which is as cryptic as the Peninsular version ´hacer el pino´ (although, if you open your legs you can resemble an inverted pine (el pino invertido) ) rolleyes

By the way, pararse in Spain means: to stop or stop doing something, not to stand.

Hmmm, now this is really weird, sorry, means nothing much in Spain, must be regional. May be you are right, in Spain we say hacer el pino.

hacer el pino -> to do a handstand (peninsular Spanish)
