How to "Not roll your R's" ?
Well... Tengo un problema muy grande 
When I want to say "but, .." I end up calling people a dog.... 
Hilarious as it might be it is also very frustrating.
In my native language we roll the R's for every single time it is used, no matter if it is R or RR. A little bit like the French R.
I've already seen many articles and question here about "How to roll the R's". But now my question is... How to NOT roll the R's? So i can avoid calling people a perro and finally say "pero". (same for many other words 
)

Say the single "r" sound like an English "d" sound. Just tap the flattened tip of your tonque to the roof of the mouth a little further back and a lot more gently, releasing the tonque down and to the back of the throat as you finish the sound.

please give this a try:
pronounce 'swing', slowly and loud.
notice how your tongue is lying low
now, try to keep your tongue in that low position (as much as possible) and try this exercise (slowly ... increase pace as you get used to it). Try to touch your teeth of lower mandible with your tongue, (maybe, keep your mouth shut and let only the lips move) and then say 'swing'; and then don't let the tip of your tongue move much when you say 'ring'

I'd hope it will stop your 'R's from rolling

Think I'll have to keep on practising, because for now.. it's physicaly impossible to make that sound 
Maybe in a while, with your tips close... I'll get it right
Pffff, that "R" is gonna give me nightmares soon
