Can anyone recommend a Spanish language poet to read or Spanish literature which would be helpful to someone learning Spanish. I do enjoy Pablo Neruda. Thanks!

How extensive is your vocabulary already? Zorro and La isla bajo del mar, both from Isabela Allende are good. I am also reading (actually listening to) The Shadow of the Wind (English description in Wikipedia), La sombra del viento in Spanish.

I have been reading El Príncipe de la Niebla by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

It's not bad so far. If you like fiction, it seems to be sort of a mysterious story so far. I got it much cheaper than the price on that amazon link though...
