In my before question, I think I should use must have been invest of might have been? Is it OK¨?

Tampoco esta frase. Los dos utilicen "have been" y en el contexto de tu oración esta da a entender que ya se cumplió o se acabó el asunto.
Y una sugerencia adicional: "In my prior question..." Y no es "invest of...", más bien es "instead of..."
