baking, darling and lovely

I love to use the words darling and lovely in English to refer to things that usually are very pretty and girly like lace table clothes and cupcakes and shells with mother of pearl. I know in Spain different adjectives are used for people and adjectives whereas in England you can use these words for both, can you please tell me some alternative spanish adjectives. Also I looked in the dictionary already, honestly, but I did not quite understand what is the verb for the act of baking, baking bread, cakes, biscuits etc...
