does anybody know any keyboard shortcuts to get the accents on letters e.g á ?

In many programs, all you have to do is press the ctrl button (hold it) and press the apostrophe key ( ' ), then release them and press the vowel that you want the tindle placed on. It works in Microsoft programs (Word, Excell, etc.) and most email programs.

okay, i tried this on skype and the accent was the wrong way as in going from NW to SE (the french way) instead of NE to SW, does this happen to anyone else? - katiesaurus89, Feb 24, 2010

It's all dependent upon the program you are attempting to use it in. Perhaps Skype was designed in France... - gadjetman, Feb 25, 2010

the alt key plus the number 1 key plus the 6th plus the 0 á

é.....alt 130...gives you é

if you have a mac just hold option e then press the letter (in this case a). same with all the vowels, and if you need an ñ hold option n then press n. or if youre just using spanishdict, then there are buttons on the bottom that you can use. Good luck :D
