Hola bsmith! Welcome to SpanishDict!

There are many different ways a person can study, and different ways work best for different people, so, not everything might work for you, but here's a few suggestions.

  1. Of course, doing the Spanish lessons on here is a good start smile They are very easy to understand have great "games" after each lesson to practice what you've learned.

  2. Sometimes it helps me, when I'm studying anything, to write them out on index cards, so, for example I could made a vocabulary list, and right one word on each card to make a kind of "flashcards" and go over them daily.

  3. Immerse yourself as much as you can into Spanish. So, maybe try watching Spanish television shows or listen to Spanish music, or befriend someone who speaks Spanish well, the more you hear it and are around it the better

  4. I have a notebook that has Spanish words that I've recently gone over or rules in Spanish that I tend to forget so that I can look at it and go over it often. So that might help.

Just remember to have fun! That is one of the keys to being successful in Spanish, to enjoy what your doing, and to actually want to learn. Also, it takes a lot of diligence and patience...(two things that I unfortunately don't have very much of) wink

Hope this helped you!
