A Question, 'Again'

A Question, 'Again'

Just curious, when is best to use 'otra vez' and to use 'de nuevo'?

I have also seen 'neuvamente' used, as well as a construction using 'volver a..(verb)'

Thanks.

Hmmm, may be regional, it sounds probably more natural to me to say: otra vez aquí!

Thanks Heidita, no not really just wondering if they are interchangeable.

For example, 'it's good to be here again' - 'que bueno estar aqui de nuevo' sounds to me more correct than 'que bueno estar aqui otra vez' and yet i'm not sure why?

Hmm, otra vez would be used in Spain. Volver a + infinitive is also often used.

Do you have a specific phrase in mind?
