Un joven trabajador is a young hardworking male and una joven trabajadora is a young hardworking female. Trabajador/a actually means hard worker so there is no need to add duro to this sentence.

A literal translation would be- un chico de trabajo duro. I would use- un trabajador duro. Hope that helps.
