Advertisements in Spanish

Question

I don't recall seeing a previous post on this topic, so I wish to congratulate the site owners on being able to attract Spanish advertisers. I used to employ ad blockers or just ignored all of the site ads, but now that many of them are in Spanish, I actually enjoy reading them. My problem now is that I feel that I am being punished for having enough "points" that I only get reduced advertising! Keep them coming!

I am not sure of this, but I think I started seeing more ads in Spanish when I switched my default site language from English to español. I now see a mix of ads in both languages. And I agree that the ads in Spanish are often fun to read.

Easy fix, Qfreed. When you want those pesky annoying distracting things, just sign on as a beginner. Get your fix, then come back as the real you.

If I "have to" look at an ad I would rather that it was in Spanish than English so, at least, I could glean some vocabulary usage from it. - 0074b507, May 15, 2010

I was very happy to see that, too! I even clicked on a few of the ads to show that there is some interest.

I have never seen any of these, not that I am intersted, jeje- I only see one ad on the right hand corner of the screen.

:I haven't seen any of these spanish ads, mine seem to all be in English :( They can get quite annoying, as they interactive and the constantly moving ads can get really distracting! Hopefully I will get some of these spanish ads someday
