Someone called me a "Coqueta" at the Mexican restaurant where I work. Is this positive or negative?

Also, I am a married woman, so is "coqueta" similar to trampy or slutty in that context? - bhedgecorth, Feb 22, 2010

Well, it was said to me by a very old spaish man - the husband of the owner of the restaurant. He's always calling me "bonita" so I guess I'll take "coqueta" as a compliment, although I don't flirt with him (ew!). - bhedgecorth, Feb 22, 2010
By him calling you "bonita" means pretty - coqueta personally I would take it as a compliment. - Lupita7132, Feb 22, 2010

jajaja...rest assured that he was not calling you a "dressing table"....at least it says "flirt" at the bottom which is how I would interpret it - alba3, Feb 22, 2010

It can also be an accusation. For example, if it's a jealous boyfriend. Yes, it does mean "flirt

maybe he meant that you have a very ´neat´ personal appearance, that you are attractive and take care of everything you think it´s attractive .
