When I sold my first car, I signed my name to transfer ownership. That was a difficult thing to do. I loved that little car.

I'm not sure about the 'a hacer'. It looks odd. Is it OK to use it that way?

ceder:

English:

  • Last year I was fishing on the Sea of Cortez in Mexico. I had a big fish (Croaker) on my line. When I got the fish to the side of the boat a large brown pelican grabbed the fish and had it in his big bill. But I was not going to give up. I reached over the side of the boat and put my arm inside the pelican's big bill and retrieved my fish.

    - Fishermen sometimes exaggerate their stories -- do you think my story is true?

I give up in that case would be "me rindo" but if you want to use the word of the day so don't use "me", just "Te lo cedo" - Benz, Feb 21, 2010
You're right, of course. I was thinking the Mexican expression, "Me doy." - 005faa61, Feb 21, 2010
Jlian, correct your posts, all of them, you dont normally do !! - 00494d19, Feb 21, 2010
Better to say, "Correct all of your posts!! You usually don't!!" (However, be careful using double "!!" This could be considered rude or condesending). - 005faa61, Feb 22, 2010
