We have a mexican restaurant in town named la charreada. What does that mean?

Hi ajbrockm, let me first take this time to welcome you to the SpanishDict forum. As to your question, "la charreada" refers to a type of celebration of Mexican cowboys "charros" that revolves around the charrería (Mexican rodeo).
