I need to say "my best friend never hurts anyone's feelings" in spanish. How would I say that?

I think that would be: Mi mejor amiga nunca hiere los sentimientos de nadie.

I'd be more likely to say: Mi amiga nunca lastimaría a nadie. My friend would never hurt anyone.

The first sentence sounds good to me. If the friend is a male, then it should be 'mi mejor amigO'. - SpanishPal, Aug 14, 2011
Both of these seem correct and are as suggested in the reference to this in wordreference.com. You can google it. The second sentence could also mean to hurt someone physically, so needs context. Bien hecho. :) - Jeremias, Aug 14, 2011
It's OK to be wrong, but no OK to question oneself. This still sounds wrong to me though it may be right and if so I must know why. - jeezzle, Aug 14, 2011

Is this the best way to say it? It just sounds weird to me. But I wonder what the best way to say "hurt someone's feelings" is? I don't know maybe it's right but the question needs more love (and I love Dawn so no hard feelings)

Gracias.

it is correct to translate it literally 'herir los sentimientos' - mountaingirl123, Aug 14, 2011
