There are such high mountains of snow on the streets of Philly that the city has to send special trucks around for removal this weekend. - Nicole-B, Feb 18, 2010
Well, maybe not mountains, but there are extremely high piles of snow everywhere. - Nicole-B, Feb 18, 2010
Yea i don't think its ventisca since its the common word. Its kinda mexican slang and only someone from mexico would probably know. My spanish teacher is from mexico and she wanted to see if we could find out, using anythign we wanted. - dsang11, Feb 18, 2010

I live in Wisconsin and my wife (Mexicana) uses "Tormenta de nieve fuerte " when explaining a blizzard to her family back in Mexico. Basic, but they seem to get it.
